Ashe vs. Kieran
Written by Ashe, Daughter of Ares
The Red Team was still celebrating their wins. Even though the team still didn’t have their leader back into the team, but he might as well be teasing the Blue Team for failing again! It wouldn’t surprise her one bit if he even continued to do so as they tried to rest up for the next round and there was some kind of rumor floating around dealing with spray paint; But as for now if was sparing time for Ashe.
The daughter of Ares needed more fights put into her agenda and certainly she was not about to fight some of her own teammates so which one of the Blue Team would be her next victim, or politically speaking opponent. It didn’t matter which was she called them, they were surely to be beaten to a pulp.
Glancing around at the demigods, a voice caught her almost off guard. “Choosing some poor soul again?” It was Louis, the son of Tyche and second in command of the Red Team.
“Trying to stop me or would you rather have me beat you into sick bay?”
“Nah, just giving good luck; not that you would need it Miss Queen of War.” Louis remarked rolling a pair of dice in his hands.
“Go to Tartarus, before I send you there.” Ashe pointed her knife at him, not declaring a fight but as a warning.
“Only for you.” He teased before leaving.
“Go kidnap the Jason back will you? Gods do something useful.”
Sighing she glanced back at the other campers. Some had armor which proven only that they might be a weak link in their team. Most were the children of the wise goddess, Athena. That would be a bit of a challenge. What was she thinking they weren’t anything but weak links to her. Walking directly through the crowd she pointed her finger at the first armored shrimp she spotted.
“Sparing, now.” She demanded the possible younger demigod. Ashe was one of the oldest daughters of Ares in the cabin, no one dared to say no to her.
Almost dragging the armored demigod back into a clearing in the woods she waited for the girl to try and introduce herself properly. It also didn’t matter to her who she would be beating but it was just battle etiquette. After another second Ashe brought out her spear, “You should be honored fighting against me. At least the old owl’s kids know to keep armor on just in case,” She paused swinging her spear against the girl’s ankles. She flinched a bit, but left a good bruise. Next thing Ashe realized was a dagger slicing at her side, “What in Tartarus?” The demigod had pierced her, that was the last thing she needed to hear. A daughter of Athena cutting up a daughter of Ares? That was not about to happen.
Round house kicking the girl to the side, she quickly let her spear produce flames at the point. The younger demigod had changed one of her items into a shield. Just for teasing Ashe brought her spear down against the metal. Sparks flew as the two items were conducting each other.
“You aren’t good for hand to hand combat aren’t you?”
The other demigod shook her head.
“Dam, this was useless. Alright I win then!” Ashe declared raising her spear in the air like a torch, even though she herself was wounded.
“You’re wounded though.”
“Ha! That is just a scratch! Not like your wounds though.”
“I’m only bruise—“With a swing of her spear she hit the girl on the forehead with her spear, her opponent collapsed onto the ground,
“Never let your guard down.” Ashe paused taking in the fact she would have to take her to sick bay, and maybe herself as well. Sighing she shrugged, “I still won.”
Kieran vs. Ashe
Written by Kieran, daughter of Athena
Both teams were ready for another battle. The Red Team really wanted Jason back. The Blue Team wanted to keep Jason. (Even though he was being extremely annoying) So they were having an entire challenge for him. But Kieran and Ashe were not to be included. They were going to fight each other.
Kieran set towards the creek. She could positively sense her coming close once she got to the creek. She took off her owl necklace and tapped it, it transformed into a shield, she had her dagger ready, bow and arrows in case they got into a far range, she could ready her compass/ shield and/or her pencil/ spears anytime, and she had her invisibility bracelet on.
Ashe was now out of the woods. Kieran careful not to make a sound readied her bow; Ashe would only see the arrow once it left the bow. Ashe seemed to be preparing for a fight; she turned, back facing Kieran. The arrow wedged between her armor, making a good target for when the fight actually started.
Ashe turned back to face her, but she was invisible, Ashe pulled the arrow out of her armor. Ashe knew she was there, she just didn’t know where. Then the fight really began.
Kieran unsheathed her dagger, as Ashe took out her electric/ flame shooting spear.
Kieran knew she couldn’t let that spear touch her. Ashe would want to either get her, or find out where she was by listening while she dodged. Fortunately for Kieran, Ashe threw her spear far enough out of range that she didn’t have to dodge.
Ashe ran to get her spear but Kieran, with her new found powers, (being a second generation descendant of Hecate) put up a force field between her and her spear. Ashe fell backwards.
Ashe took out her knife, she swung it wildly. By luck she struck Kieran’s stinging leg. Kieran fell to the ground, her leg once again bleeding. (But this time with invisible blood)
Kieran crawled away, notched an arrow in her bow, and shot it straight into the weak spot in Ashe’s armor.
Ashe wailed in pain, than exclaimed “Come out and show yourself, Kieran!”
“I already have come out!” Kieran shot back.
“You’re just scared, because you know Ares will always defeat Athena!” Ashe taunted.
“I know the exact opposite!” Kieran returned the favor. “Athena will always tower over Ares!”
Kieran took out her dagger and once again went for the weak spot in Ashe’s armor, but she rolled to get her spear, Kieran had non-purposely taken the force field down, Ashe now had a pretty good idea where Kieran was now. She threw the spear towards her chest, but Kieran scooted back and it landed between her legs. Kieran grabbed the spear, it immediately turned invisible. Kieran threw the spear out of either of their reach.
Kieran had some wire in her pocket, she set a trip wire in the direction of the Red Team’s flag it would bring Ashe up, hanging from a branch, and she covered it with grass. Kieran than walked loudly in the direction of the flag, as if to take it right in the middle of a challenge.
“I don’t think so Kieran!” Ashe said, following the sound of her footsteps.
She walked straight into the trap.
“Do you surrender to Athena, Child of Ares?” Kieran asked partly sarcastic.
“Never,” Ashe wouldn’t.
Kieran cast a sleeping charm on Ashe with her newfound powers.
“How about now?” Kieran asked, not expecting an answer.
Kieran cut the rope holding Ashe, she took her spear and dagger so she would be weaker in battle. She planned to break the spear, melt the dagger, and give it to Nyssa to use it for a project.
