Here is Blue Team’s response to Challenge Three of trying to keep Jason as their prisoner! Great writing, Hannah!

“Okay, team. Our mission – stop the Reds from rescuing Jason,” Rebecca announced, her voice loud and clear. “Are we ready to begin?”
“As distracting as he is, we have to stop them,” Kaila agreed.
The group nodded, looking determined. “Where’s Kieran?” Jk asked, confused.
“Kieran is fighting Ashe, daughter of Ares. A loss for our side, yet an advantage also,” Nyssa responded.
Sky let off a few sparks to get attention. “Kieran will be fine. Right now, we need to focus on the challenge. I understand that Rebecca and Kaila are leading the sub teams?”
Ivy nodded. “Rebecca, Hannah, Rodrigo and I are in Sub. One. Jk, Kaila, Nyssa and Sky are in Sub. Two.”
“Sub. One will guard Jason, while Sub. Two will guard the flag, and try to stop the Reds in any way they can beforehand,” Rebecca finished.
“And,” Hannah put in, “we have our new team mate Florence, daughter of Athena, on lookout for the Reds. She’ll alert Sub. Two to get the trip wires and tiger traps ready.”
After a quick glance at each other, Kaila and Rodrigo nodded, a determined look on their faces.
The group prepared for the battle. Jk put on his Nemean Lion jacket. Hannah made sure her invisibility baseball cap was tucked inside her pocket. Rebecca secured her shield to her arm. Kaila’s silly-band sword was on her wrist. Nyssa and Sky had their elemental powers at the ready. Rodrigo wore his leather jacket-armour. Ivy had her various illusion powders with her.
Sub. Two went off to guard the flag from any unexpected plans to take it. Not that the Reds would, with their leader being held captive, but, still – better safe than sorry.
Rebecca positioned herself and half-siblings around the entrance to the forest – which, if they had not been there, would have been the only safe (read: safe-ish) place to enter and unlock the son of Hermes’ cage. Rebecca and Rodrigo stood at opposite sides of the guarding area. Ivy was put on the left entrance, and Hannah on the right. From the corners of her eyes, she could see Rebecca and Rodrigo, hidden amongst the trees. Rodrigo had his blade in knife form.
An arrow, no bigger than a sewing needle, zipped across their field of vision – so small, only trained eyes would see it. The arrow hit a tree near Rodrigo and dissolved. The Reds were coming.
Meanwhile, over at the flag, Kaila organised Sub. Two. Jk and Nyssa were the front guards. Jk pulled back and forth on his bow’s string. Nyssa bounced a fireball on her hand, as if waiting for someone to have lunch with.
Kaila and Sky stood the furthest away from the flag. Kaila rolled her silly band up and down her arm impatiently, watching Sky send experimental air blasts at the ground, testing for traps. Rebecca had told them they would recognise a tiny Athena symbol if there was one, but so far Sub. Two had come across two tiger traps, and no such symbol could be found.
Finally Sky found one. They looked more like safety pins than symbols, but they were by any and all traps nonetheless. Jk walked over and inspected it. “Reckon any of the Reds will actually come this way?”
Kaila shrugged. “Maybe. Probably not. If we get a signal-” She was cut off by a gleeful cry.
“There they are!”
Nyssa cursed under her breath so loudly it could be heard 80 feet away. “It’s Cate and Thuthu. The daughters of Poseidon.”
They rushed to their places, and readied their weapons. Cate leapt over a fallen tree trunk…and fell straight into a tiger trap. The gas seeped in, causing her to cough a bit. There was a small, yet greatly satisfying thud as she fell unconscious. Jk smirked. The tiger traps had been his idea. Thuthu soon followed. She looked around for a split-second. (Most probably wondering where her team mate was.) A split second too long. Jk shot a volley of arrows (courtesy of the Party Ponies) at her. Thuthu yelped, but miraculously dodged them all. Some had boxing gloves on the end. Others emitted a toxic-like gas.
Everyone, even Jk, gagged at the stench. Nyssa, however, took this as an opportunity. She lit a fireball and hurled it at a decaying tree. The tree was engulfed in flames in a matter of seconds.
Sky took a chance and took a step into the air. After a few more steps, she was walking on the smoke of the fire. Drawing an arrow, she summoned lightning to hit the ground in specific areas. Below, Kaila battled Thuthu one-on-one, as Jk fired more arrows. Realizing Sky’s plan, Nyssa desperately tried to keep the fire under control. She glanced up at Sky, who, by now, was about 25 feet in the air. They locked eyes and nodded to each other.
Kaila struck Thuthu again – with such force both girls fell to the ground. Thuthu’s multi-metal sword skidded across the ground, out of reach. Somehow, Kaila had kept grip of her sword. She pushed it against Thuthu’s neck; not light enough for Thuthu to get up, but not so hard it drew blood. Jk had partially backed down, and was now having a silent conversation with Nyssa. Sky still hovered above, arrow drawn. She gave it for a second, then three short taps. Then a pause, and another quick tap. Then an extended tap. Then two short taps. Sky was using Morse code to send an electrical pulse message! After a few more moments (and a lot more tapping), the arrow shimmered and turned into a blunt arrow.
Down below, Kaila held Thuthu tight. Which was great. Unless you counted the fact that Kaila wasn’t supposed to be trapped under the net as well as Thuthu.
Sub. Two were at a dilemma. They could either trap the daughters of Poseidon and Athena, or risk using powers and fighting at the same time. Before the games had began, all demigods had taken an oath not to kill. So that was one possibility eliminated.
An idea began to form in the daughter of Zeus’s mind. Everyone waited, breath held in, to see what she would do. Sky let her arrow fly.
It hit the ground by Thuthu’s left hand (also her sword hand) and immediately sprouted a rope, which held the limb in place. Kaila’s grip lessened. Sky repeated the procedure, this time encasing Thuthu’s right wrist. Kaila leapt off of the Red team member, and gave a thumbs up to Sky. She selected a special arrow, and fired it. The arrow itself split into a net, which pinned down Thuthu.
Nyssa let her flames die, and Sky gracefully climbed down a staircase of smoke.
The group gave each other high-fives, but their victory was interrupted. “Wondered why there’s only two of us? The rest are at the other ba-oomph!” Thuthu’s rant was cut off by Jk, who had ripped off part of his shirt and used it was a gag.
Nyssa frowned “How-? Actually, don’t answer that one.”
Kaila and Sky grinned. Bleep bleep. They turned, and a ring of glittery light and colour floated in the air. Jk threw in a drachma. The IM was from Florence. Her face was pale.
“You guys? You have to get to the others! They’re in trouble!” She appeared to have pushed a button, and Sub. One came into view. Rebecca’s arm wound from the Nemean Lion had been freshly opened again. Rodrigo was taking on four Reds at once. He was incredibly skilled, but even he couldn’t take that many. Hannah lay on the ground. She only had a few scrapes, but her face was pale, and she wasn’t moving. Ivy was nowhere to be found.
