Today marks the official start of the Halloween Costume Contest! We’re starting it a little early to give you plenty of time to make your costume especially before the school year kicks off (specifically in the USA). Dress up as your favorite characters such as: Tyson, Percy, Annabeth. Thalia, etc. The possibilities are endless. Deadline for all photo submissions will be October 20th, 2012. Start thinking of ideas and pull out your sewing machine. Please read all the rules otherwise you will be automatically removed from the contest if you don’t.

Voting does not take place until after October 20th, 2012. All votes must be sent privately through the poll, Facebook messaging, or emailing the email above. Votes that are submitted through the comment box will be immediately removed because we wish the poll to remain private.
There is a chance of receiving prizes! So stay tuned!
Rules
-Your submission must be a picture of only you. Exception is if multiple people are dressing up and submitting together.
-The picture must be of good quality, so no blurry or darkly lit pictures.
-Please keep the pictures PG meaning your submission should not contain any profanity, vulgarity, or insulting content.
-The character you choose must be from Percy Jackson and the Olympians and The Heroes of Olympus series.
-Please clearly state who you are dressing up as and keep your costume as close to how the character would really appear.
-If you decide to dress up as Annabeth wearing her invisibility hat, please be visible to the camera as a picture of a blank wall wouldn’t be too exciting.
-If a moderator sees any reason for your picture to be disqualified, it will be removed without warning or a suggestion will be given.
- You can dress up as any characters! Please be sure that when you submit your photo it is described who you are. Please no characters that you made up, the point is to dress up from something from the books. Examples include: satyrs, campers, gods, goddesses, etc. We highly suggest that you don’t dress up as minor characters like Lacy or Mitchell from the Aphrodite cabin. If you don’t know if a character is okay, please ask us for help!
-All photos must be submitted by the deadline: October 20th,,2012 at 12 a.m. MST
-All votes must be in by Halloween, October 31st, 2012 at 12 a.m. MST

Wish I knew about this contest sooner! Just made costumes for my family: kids were Grover (in full satyr mode) and Artemis, with dogs getting in on the action/theme as Blackjack and Porkpie.
