She wanted to be an actor when she was a child but her first television role did not come about until she was 16 years old, when she booked a single episode in the role of victimized teen Laurie Lewis on the soap opera All My Children. At the same time, she was a sophomore attending a traditional girl’s school in New York. “I was finishing my sophomore year of high school at [the Brearley School] in New York,” Alexandra said. “I would not have been able to continue my education there.”

What I think about her playing the role: I haven’t seen Alexandra in any movies or shows, so I have no idea how well her acting is. I’m sure she will be great. She is a little too old, especially if they continue to make the other books. She does not have the same looks as the Annabeth in the books, which is some what disappointing to me as I like books to be as close as possible to their movies.
