Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief will release on Blu-Ray and DVD on June 22!

Specs still haven’t been revealed yet, but the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack will include: 10 Deleted Scenes, Secrets of the Gods, The Book Comes to Life, Inside Camp Half-Blood, On Set with Brandon T. Jackson, Meet the Demigods, Composing for the Gods: A Conversation with Christophe Beck, and Discover Your Powers Quiz.

The Blu-ray Disc with Digital Copy will be available for the suggested retail price of $39.99 U.S. / $49.99 Canada and the standard DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $29.98 U.S. / $43.48 Canada.

Movie Posters Date Wrong

Thank you purplek123 for sending in a spy report telling us that the movie poster dates are wrong. The official release date for Percy Jackson is Friday, February 12th 2010.

The movie poster have President’s Day 2010 as the release date. As I asked in previous posts who knows when President’s Day is? Apparently the poster designers didn’t know the date of President’s Day either. Presidents’ Day in 2010 is on Monday, the 15th of February. Kind of a problem when the release date and the posters don’t match…what do you think about this? Leave a comment below.
