“Titan’s Curse” Confirmed to Release in 2015?

The Titan's CurseOn Wikipedia, it has been confirmed by 20th Century Fox that the film, most likely titled “Percy Jackson: Titan’s Curse”, will be released in December 2015! Unfortunately, this is believed to just be rumored as at the moment there is no official press release from 20th Century Fox. What are your thoughts on this?

I’m excited. Previously, I did a Titan’s Curse movie dreamcast of who I think would make great additions to the film. You can read it at Percy Jackson: The Titan’s Curse Movie Cast.

Thanks, nic727, for letting me know!

I want them to make The Titan’s Curse movie, and so as The Battle of the Labyrinth, The Last Olympian – Part 1, and The Last Olympian – Part 2.

    • #1 Logan lerman/Percy Jackson fan - August 18, 2014

I do to :( sadly if you look it up logen lerman says it’s officially dead and it’s not happening…. :( I loved all the movies even tho they didn’t match the book completely I really don’t want them to find a new percy either cause logen lerman is a perfect role for him and they also left sea of monsters with a cliff hanger at the end which means they have to make a movie because in 21 jump street they had a cliff hanger and hey made a 2nd film but the thing is lightning theif was all wrong and got bad ratings and wasn’t has successful as hunger games or twilight or Harry potter so I think that’s why there not making a third movie…. I’m very heartbroken about this I really am and in fact there is a 2nd Percy Jackson series also with all those new charactors maybe the they could have a new percy and stuff but it just won’t be the same because if they made titans curse annabeth would be 30 years old and she’s sopost to play a 13 or 14 yearold girl cause the forst book there sopost to be 12 and logen lermans was 16 when he filmed it I’m sorry about the long comment I’m just very sad I really want at least one more movie because nico and Bianca come into it and I really WANNNA see them !!!!

i think they should stick completely to the book otherwise i think the popularity of the movies and books will go down once tey see the movie

  3. Mckenzie - August 3, 2014

I love the Percy Jackson movies. During my hard times the comforted me and would love to see them all turn into movies

  4. amber - July 24, 2014

I hope they make all the movies its has helped my eight year old boy be more interested in books .like the harry potter series you have to have an open mind to the movie it will not be every second of the book but it get an interest started ,expands the imagination you have towards it. It will be a shame if they do not finish the series the last movie to me was improving and made me more excited in a third! :-)

  5. Annabelle/true Demigod! - July 24, 2014

I really do hope they make The titans Curse. I mean I was hoping they would make all the movies and the next series of Percy Jackson, heroes of Olympus! And what about Nico and Bianca and Thaila! IT MUST GO ON! Hopefully the movie will come out in time for my birthday in December 2015! :)

  6. Cindy McMillan - July 17, 2014

I do hope that they will make the rest of the Percy Jackson’s books into movies. I enjoy watching them and I enjoy Greek Gods and goddess. I really enjoyed Percy Jackson’s movies, please continue to make the rest.

The thing that bugs me the most is they left sea of monsters with a cliff hanger at the end everytime they do that to movies they should continue them even if they have to stop making movies after titans curse film is done

      • leia - July 20, 2014

If you read the books you would know what the cliffhanger was. They might not do a third movie because the movies didn’t really follow the books so not as many people watched the second movie

        • steamboat brainard - July 27, 2014

for example percy defeats kronos in the sea of monsters even tho that would not have happened until the final book/movie and the cursed blade as they called it was not anaklusmos it was annabeths knife that percy gave to luke to stab him self with after he bathed in the river styx which by the big prophecy meant the choice to preserve or raize olympus

  7. percico - July 4, 2014

Logan Lerman said that there isn’t going to be a third movie. He said that they’re over with.

  8. Eric Thompson - June 23, 2014

I can’t believe that Logan Lerman would give up his role as Percy Jackson! I had hopes that one day after all the movies of the Percy Jackson series were done that the Heroes of Olympus series would be made into movies as well. I’ve loved everything about the Percy Jackson series. The Percy Jackson series were the beginning but the Heroes of Olympus movies will be as awesome as the books were! I hope they make a new cast and continue the adventure.

The Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series were the best adventure books I’ve ever read. I hope they continue and make a third movie.

  9. Percy Jackson - June 19, 2014

Please make more movies at first i didnt like the books but then i began reading and i couldnt stop so please make more movies and dont stop i hope they make it by december 2015 on my birthday.

If they don’t make a #3 I am going to scream. They can’t just leave us hanging. What happens to Thalia and Percy. Were is Nico and Bianco DiAngelo? And make it more like the book. They need to meet over at West-over hall and meet the manticore. Don’t leave us hanging tell us what happens, from the books standpoint.

  11. #1 percy jackson fan - June 3, 2014

They really need to make the movie but just read the book first and then make the movie so it can be more like the book!

  12. ahmedjassim - April 24, 2014

hey the actors are the best so no body asked for your opinion

  13. True Demi-god At Heart - April 23, 2014

i agree with all of. i cant wait til’ the next book or movie, i mean December 2015, but the movies are getting way to far of course from the books. i think rick should help them out on the movies and i mean the actors are great but they are to old. Percy and Annabeth are twelve in the first book.

    • ciara - April 26, 2014

I saw something that said rick didnt actually see the movies because he thought they would change too much so he should definitely help out this time.

      • iLikeTheUDK - May 18, 2014

I read somewhere that he did watch the first movie around the time it came out, and he was sorry he did, adding that he couldn’t stop imagining Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth (whose Annabeth was absolutely not how he imagined Annabeth when he wrote the books).

  14. Anonymous - April 21, 2014

I love the Percy Jackson film series but I think they should do a remake instead. The characters are too old for the roles, especially Alexandra, she’s already 28. It would be more interesting if they get young actors and actresses, and these kids would grow up making the film series. That would be more realistic, and more book-based. And they should put the highlight scenes from the original story to the movie. If they would alter some scenes, they must make sure that it was not the highlight of the story. But, I really adore Logan-Alexandra love team. They’re perfect as Percy-Annabeth, but they’re way too old. However, I can’t wait to see the Titan’s Curse. They must also consider the intervals of each film. Three years is way too long.

  15. Still Looking For Camp Half-Blood - April 16, 2014

To everyone who want’s Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Curse to be a movie – look away now!
I CAN’T SEE WHY ANYONE WOULD EVEN BOTHER WANTING TO SEE ANY OF THE PERCY JACKSON FILMS IF THEY HAVE READ THE BOOKS!
I mean, come on, in the first movie everyone looks about 16 and that’s Percy’s Great Prophecy is supposed to be; the actors look nothing like what they are supposed to or act like they’re supposed to. And what’s with all the flirting and healing other people with water – NOT EVERYONE IS A KID OF POSEIDON YOU KNOW!
The first two films hardly go with the story line of the books! And in the second film – what’s with Kronos showing up?! He’s supposed to be chopped up into hundreds of pieces! You’re not even supposed to see him at all! When he does come, he’s taking control of Luke in the 4th/5th books, and Luke gets golden eyes when that happens too! Kronos doesn’t even try eating Luke! Like what the hell – Kronos needs him to take over the world; taking control of Luke’s body and getting hit in the eye by Rachel’s plastic blue hairbrush!
Rant over. Thanks for reading this.
    – concerned reader of Rick’s books!
    :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I think at least Chris Columbus, who directed “The Lightning Thief”, read it; this probably inspired him to make the film version. Except that he, and later Thor Freudenthal, who replaced him for “Sea of Monsters”, decided that the films would be, ahem…their own “interpretations” of them…
And Columbus was the director of the first 2 Harry Potter films…
Maybe if Rick Riordan had some creative control over the Percy Jackson films it wasn’t such a problem. J.K. Rowling was an executive producer on “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” (and later “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”), so it was likely a major factor in those films remaining mostly true to the books.

    • rebeka shoulc - May 20, 2014

too true i aree someone els should try to make these books

    • Marie - June 22, 2014

Hey,about that reading the books and that watching the movie may be different and odd. but put it this way look at the hunger games, harry potter and any other books that have been made in to a movie u had watched it’s logical not all movies can be turned exactly in to the book. think it this
way it’s movie that is attempted in a new twist. if not then that’s o.k. It’s not really nice to put down a movie that have been worked on very hard. It’s like saying “Divergent sucked badly”
I hope people don’t think that way

    • #1 Logan lerman/Percy Jackson fan - April 3, 2014

No!!!! I’m sad I loved the Percy Jackson movies!!!!!

      • PercyFan#1 - May 8, 2014

It’s alright the reporters took it out of context. He has a contract for three movies, and has to do the third if they make it, but said that he hasn’t been contacted about it yet, so said it was unlikely, not dead.

  17. yaya - March 23, 2014

Please bring more out out I love to watch them I need to see more

  18. Sam Johnson - February 21, 2014

I actually enjoyed Sea of Monsters. Hope they keep getting better :)

  19. Example - February 21, 2014

I love Percy Jackson and I just cant wait till December 2015. Does anyone think they could make it by December 2014?

    • #1 Logan lerman/Percy Jackson fan - February 23, 2014

I think they could but the movies weren’t a big hit in theaters so they need time to make it

    • iLikeTheUDK - May 18, 2014

They didn’t even start principal photography yet.

    • Bella - July 11, 2014

Probably not because this book (I think) has ALOT of action and that means ALOT of special effects that’s really hard to do and it takes a long time to find the right cast, make it, produce it, CUT it. BTW I haven’t read the whole series yet. I’m still on the first book.
